Housing Calendar

Students* are expected to move-out and depart campus within 24 hours following their last final exam or by noon on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 (whichever comes first).

*Graduating Seniors may remain in residence through 5pm the day following Commencement

• Summer Housing begins Sunday, May 25, 2025.
• Summer Housing ends Saturday, August 16, 2025
• A separate housing fee applies.
• Consult the Summer Housing website for additional information.

• First-year student move-in is Thursday, August 21. (limited evening hours on Wednesday, August 20 as well)  Check-in hours and arrival instructions will be announced in early August.
• Transfer student move-in is Thursday, August 21. (limited evening hours on Wednesday, August 20 as well) Check-in hours and arrival instructions will be announced in early August.
• Returning student move-in is Friday, August 22 from 9am – 4pm; Saturday, August 23 from 9am – 4pm; and Sunday, August 24 from noon – 2pm in Pfenning Wilson Room.
• Early arrivals: Only students who are members of approved early arrival groups/teams may return to campus in advance of the regular opening date. Contact the coach/group adviser for move-in date and time.
  Individual students with unavoidable travel issues may submit an Early Arrival Request to be permitted to check-in early (additional housing fees may apply).  The form opens August 1st in MyHousing.  Deadline to submit requests is August 15th.   Students must receive a confirmation of approval in order to arrive early.  DO NOT ARRIVE ON CAMPUS WITHOUT THIS APPROVAL.  Please plan travel to campus accordingly.
• First Day of Classes: Monday, August 25.

• Monday, October 13th – Tuesday, October 14th
• All residential facilities remain open. No additional fees apply for break stay

• Wednesday, November 26 – Sunday, November 30
• All residential facilities remain open. No additional fees apply for break stay

• All residential facilities, including off-campus apartments, close on Tuesday, December 16 at 5pm. (meal plan ends at this time as well)
• If you are not returning to campus for the spring semester OR will be changing rooms, you must completely move out of your room by Tuesday, December 16 and return the room key to the Residence Life office.

• Winter Housing begins Tuesday, December 16, 2025.
• Winter Housing ends Friday, January 23, 2026
• A separate housing fee applies.
• Consult the Winter Housing website for additional information.

• Move-in days for the spring are Saturday, January 24th and Sunday, January 25th.
• If you are new to campus or moving to a new room assignment, you will pick up your room keys from the Residence Life office (132 Farinon Center)  Hours are Friday 10am-4pm, Saturday 10am to 2pm, and Sunday noon to 2pm
  
• If your room assignment has not changed, you may go directly to your room. You do not need to check-in at Residence Life.  Don’t forget to pack your key and student ID card!
• Early arrivals: Students with unavoidable circumstances may request an individual early arrival of Thursday, January 22nd or Friday, January 23rd through MyHousing.  Additional fees may apply.
• First Day of Classes: Monday, January 26th.

• Saturday, March 14 – Sunday, March 22.
• All residential facilities remain open. No additional fees apply to break stay.
• Campus services may have limited hours.
