Tyler Bergsma

Tyler joined the office as an Assistant Director of Residence Life in November of 2023. He works with different RA staffs and the HRs to promote a safe, healthy learning environment on campus in the residence halls that includes building community and relationships. Tyler also supports students through participating in the on-call rotation and the student conduct process.
Prior to Lafayette, Tyler worked at Dickinson College as an Assistant Director of Campus Life for Residence Life and Housing. He earned his B.A with a dual major in psychology and English from Moravian College (now University) in 2019 and his M.Ed. in Student Affairs in Higher Education Administration from Kutztown University in 2021.
Outside of work, Tyler is a fan of the NFL (especially the Eagles), playing sports, creative writing, and all things Marvel tv/cinema. Tyler resides on campus with his dog, Cooper.
