Health & Safety Guidelines for Spring 2020 Move Out
Everyone must wear a mask and gloves while inside buildings.
No more than two adults can accompany a student to assist with move-out. Children and pets are not permitted.
You must have a pre-arranged and confirmed move-out appointment before you travel to campus. If you do not have an appointment, you will not be permitted to enter the residence hall. There will be no exceptions.
Move out appointments must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance.
Bring your room key and access fob (checkpoint).
Your access fob will be activated for your specific move-out appointment.
You will receive a confirmation email with further instructions and expectations approximately 1-2 days prior to your appointment.
Stay within your three-hour appointment window for arrival and departure from campus.
Bring all supplies you need for move out with you (tubs, boxes, trash bags, cleaning supplies, etc.). If you have contracted with Dorm Room Movers for storage services, bring the packing supplies they sent you.
Access to campus storage areas is not available.
Remove all trash to dumpsters.
Maintain social distancing from others who are moving out or reside in the building.
If your roommate is residing on campus, please communicate your move-out plans with them.
In consideration of students still living on campus, use only designated restrooms, and don’t go into building common areas (lounge, kitchen, etc.).
During the exam period, maintain 24-hour quiet hours in consideration of students still living on campus.
If you become ill or have been exposed to infection, do not come to campus. Reschedule your appointment for later in the move-out period.
No overnight stays in College housing are permitted.
Don’t visit others or enter other campus buildings, including Farinon College Center.
